Dr. Brent Carter

Dr. Brent Carter is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon. Dr. Carter completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Valdosta State University. Dr. Carter pursued his medical education at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine. Following his graduation from medical school, he completed his post-graduate training at Larkin Community Hospital where he completed a 3-year foot and ankle reconstructive rearfoot surgical residency.

Dr. Carter’s training in residency was well-rounded in all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery. Dr. Carter was exposed to many aspects of general podiatry concerns in an office setting giving him the ability to obtain a sound grasp of conservative treatment modalities for various podiatry ailments. In addition to conservative treatment, Dr. Carter received advanced training in surgery encompassing all aspects of the foot and ankle. Furthermore, Dr. Carter is trained in wound care, sports medicine, natural/nutritional treatments, and multiple advanced cutting-edge technologies to address many pathologies.

Dr. Carter shares many passions out of the office. Dr. Carter is an avid health enthusiast. Dr. Carter loves to stay active and works out often leading a healthy lifestyle that he incorporates into his practice. Dr. Carter loves lifting weights, cardiovascular exercise, and nutritional management that he enjoys with his wife. Dr. Carter enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter in his spare time. They can be found all out enjoying the outdoors most often staying active. Dr. Carter is a big sports fan and enjoys college football especially!

Dr. Carter wants to be sure that all patients that visit him feel like family. He wants to be sure all of the patient’s questions and concerns are addressed without the patient feeling rushed.
